Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization whose main objective is to support Veterans and their families, as well as the families of our active military. One of its main concerns is that they know, understand, and have clear access to the information they need, and the benefits they have earned through their service to this Country.  

AVVA VISTA, or 'Volunteers in Service to America', is a program which affords AVVA the ability to keep realistic and accurate records of the 1000's of hours that our AVVA members spend volunteering in their communities and elsewhere. 

AVVA, Chapter 9 is currently involved in supporting our Post 6691 by bartending, working spaghetti dinners, restoring brick pavers, supplying a service officer for the veterans, etc. 

VFW Post 6691 is gratefully appreciated for the support of AVVA to help in carrying out the mission of service to our local veteran community. 

AVVA meetings are held the last Thursday of the month in the Post hall.
